Neither of my dogs have ever been to the beach. They probably would have a good time, but what I wonder if I could them to get into one of my favorite things to do. Surfing. There are a few surfing dogs in the world and they have a surfing championship. The 2nd annual championships were just held this past Saturday and Abbie, a rescue who lives with Michael Uy. Michael said he turned Abbie onto surfing by taking her to the beach after her adoption to let her chill and socialize with other people. Michael was asked how she got into surfing and he says “One time we put her on a surfboard to rest. And she stood up on the board and we thought, well, why don’t we put her on a wave and see what happens, and she just rode it all the way into shore.” Check her out below.
