Cooper is our featured adoptable pet from Operation Education Animal Rescue in Murfreesboro!
Cooper is one lucky guy. He was previously in another shelter, and his time had unfortunately run out to keep him any longer. Operation Education had come to his rescue to place him into a foster home and potentially his forever home!
It’s pretty heartwarming to know that approximately 3.2 million pets in animal shelters are adopted each year. But unfortunately, nearly 1.5 million animals are euthanized, according to ASPCA, and the biggest reason for this is because of the abundance of animals and lack of available space to keep them any longer, or their “time’s up.” But because of local animal shelters like Operation Education, based out of Murfreesboro, we’re teaming up to raise awareness of animals in the area looking for forever homes.
Cooper is an 18-month-old Catahoula mix and has so much energy! According to his Petfinder profile, he loves to run and fetch and would be a wonderful family dog with some help! He loves dog toys and would love a boy to run and play with him.
Cooper also needs a foster home!! If you’re not ready to adopt, consider fostering. For more info on how you can help out homeless pets at Operation Education, including donating or fostering, their contacts are listed below.
