Okay, so maybe it wasn’t the entire band, but a video that recently surfaced on Instagram shows Josh Homme, lead guitarist/singer of the band, covering Cheap Trick’s “Surrender” at his daughter’s 6th grade graduation party.
That in itself is a sight to behold, but factor in that he had his wife Brody Dalle on lead guitar and Butch Vig (you know, the guy that produced Nirvana’s Nevermind, you may have heard of it) slappin’ da bass, and you have a graduation party none of those kids will ever forget.
Honestly, I didn’t even know 6th grade graduations were a thing, but maybe that’s just because my school didn’t have members of Queens of the freakin’ Stone Age picking up their kids in the car line!
