Who doesn’t love a slice of delicious pizza?
That’s exactly what Carolina Williams, a graduate of Ravenwood High School, had in mind when she wrote her application letter to Yale University.
Her super relatable letter about the joys of ordering a pizza from her favorite place, Papa John’s, apparently struck the right nerve for the admissions officer, who wrote back that “As a fellow lover of pizza, I laughed out loud (then ordered pizza) after reading your application.” She was accepted!
Of course Williams had the academic prowess to back up this achievement, but I like to think that the pizza letter was what really took the cake (or, in this case, pie)!
