It’s always an uncomfortable situation when someone who is working in your home asks if they can use the bathroom.
That’s what happened about six months ago when Eric Yates in Northern Kentucky called Spectrum Cable to get his cable set up. The installer came to his house, hooked everything up and then asked to use the restroom. That’s when things went south. The cable installer clogged the toilet and left without telling Yates. When the homeowner finally discovered the mess, he was unable to unclog the toilet after numerous attempts with a plunger. He eventually had to call a plumber and pay $230 to get the toilet unclogged.
Yates is still being avoided by the cable company. Story below, complete with some great news puns! (starts about 1:20 in)
