Every kid wants to be a rock star, and if you’re a bad ass on the bass, then you can have the opportunity. Robert Trujillo’s 12 year old son, Tye, is going on tour with Korn in South America. Apparently due to“unforeseen circumstances” Korn’s regular bassist Fieldy can’t make the tour, so instead of cancel the tour, the band enlisted 12 year old Tye Trujillo to fill in. This isn’t his first gig either. Two years ago his band the Helmets played Lollapalooza’s Kidpalooza, and the following year, the group appeared at the BottleRock Festival in Napa, Calif. — with his dad joining in on the Father Son Jam.
