A 31-year-old guy named Pat Brocco from Avondale, Arizona went to a doctor’s appointment three years ago. He weighed in at 605 pounds, and his doctor basically told him his life was in serious danger. So Pat decided to make a change.
He lived about one mile from a Walmart, and he decided that every time he was hungry, he’d walk to Walmart, buy food, walk home, cook it, and eat. The Walmart was one mile from his house.
Now, three years later, Brocco weighs 279 pounds. He lost 326 pounds, or almost 110 pounds a year.
