It’s last call, or maybe you’re in the middle of a good night of hanging at your favorite bar with buds, and you decide to hit up the jukebox, cause you got a song stuck in your head, and now you think everyone else wants to hear that song. Well, before you drop some coin in the music machine, think about your selection. A dozen bartenders in either the best dives, or swank hipster joint, chimed in on the worst songs you could ever play in a bar. They rank so:
“Shots” by LMFAO ft Lil Jon
“Living on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi…I agree….I will slap the dollar out of your hand if you play this around me!
“Red Solo Cup” by Toby Keith cause…country sucks!!! Especially this song!
“Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond. I mean it’s o.k. at baseball games. But no one is interested in your sing along at this time.
“Wagon Wheel” by Old Crow Medicine Show or Hootie AKA Darius Rucker. I don’t even know if I know this song….
“Closing Time” by Semisonic. This one has bad memories for me anyway. Think back to 99.
“All Summer Long” by Kidd Rock……
Anything from Jam Bands i.e. The Grateful Dead, Phish…..
Any throwback rap songs from the early 2000’s
“Freebird” by Lynyrd Skynyrd
“Piano Man” by Billy Joel
and of course…”Don’t Stop Believin” by Journey.
