At least that is what he told a police dispatcher he called… during the high speed chase…
Jeremy Carf of Indiana is was locked up after he lead police on a 42 mile high speed chase. In which, 5 different police agencies were involved. During the chase, Carf called police dispatch and said that he was scared to stop because he was high, drunk, and had just broken up with his girlfriend.
Yes… during the high speed chase… he called the very people that were chasing him.
Luckily, a dispatcher was able to talk him into stopping. Carf was charged with speeding, reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle on suspended or revoked license, fleeing or evading police, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and… he had an outstanding warrant on top of it all.
Did he at least get any points for being honest?
