Dagwood’s Top Faves of 2015

Nashville, TN, United States / 102.9 The Buzz

We asked the guys to tell us some of their favorite things from 2015: albums, concerts, and songs. They’ve narrowed it down to five, and here’s what they had to say.

Dagwood does what he wants.

So another year has come and gone. As with every year at this time we are inundated with top 10 lists. So we’re only gonna do a top 5! Why? Because 10 would make the man lose sleep (thanks Nat X).

I don’t go see many movies that are new.  I figure since I pay so damn much for cable, I can wait til they’re on friggin HBO or something. What I do go to are the midnight movies at the Belcourt Theatre!

So here’s my top 5 Belcourt Midnight Movies of 2015…

5. Madman

An underrated 80s slasher

4. Rocky Horror Picture Show

It’s a Halloween tradition!

3. Out For Justice

The best Steven Seagal movie!

2. Boogie Nights

I can never see this movie enough.

1. They Live

Rowdy Roddy Piper and Keith David in the greatest fight scene, ever!

Top 5 Favorite Concerts

I have to admit, 2015 was one of my laziest years yet. So I did get out to many concerts. I only went to 3 concerts this year…so here’s my top 3!!

3. Buzz Swanky Sweater Christmas Jam at War Memorial

2. Local H at Exit/In

The best live band you will ever see.

1. Y&T at Mercy Lounge

For you youngins,  that’s an 80s metal band

Top 5 Favorite Songs

5. AWOLNATION – Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf)

4. Highly Suspect – Lydia

3. Weezer – Thank God For Girls

2. Shinedown – Cut The Cord

1. Catfish And The Bottlemen – Cocoon

NOW… on to my favorite subject: TV

My 5 favorite shows of 2015

5. “The Following” season 3

Too bad this show was canceled.

4. Better Call Saul

A great show for those who still miss Breaking Bad

3. “Fargo” season 3

I didn’t like the finale, but it was still a great season.

2. “Ash vs. Evil Dead”

Ash Williams, nuff said! Groovy.

1. Scream Queens

I can’t wait to hit on demand and watch this again. A must- watch for horror movie fans. Emma Roberts is hilarious as the leader of a sorority that is terrorized by a masked killer.

Thanks for checking out my top 5’s. I look forward to my favorites of 2016!
