As if this little girl hasn’t been through enough… now the school is banning her from using a walking cane.
Lily-Grace Hooper suffered a stroke when she was just 4 days old which left her blind in one eye, and with only limited vision in the other. After she learned to use a cane to get around better and be more independent, the Health and Safety officer at her primary school said it posed a risk to other students. Now, the girl and her family is being told they have to come up with a different option.
