Jack White Crashes Neighbors’ Potluck in Nashville

Nashville, TN, United States / 102.9 The Buzz

I’m not a Nashville native, but I’ve realized that one of the coolest things about this town is you never know who you’ll run into, or you probably know somebody that knows somebody, that…and so on.

Jack White made a special appearance at a neighborhood potluck a few days back. Special, meaning it was the first time in a while for him, and apologizing for being away on the road so much. The best part? Nobody really recognized him.

Jedidiah Jenkins posted a photo on his Instagram, along with:

“My mom helps host a neighborhood potluck in front of my childhood home. Our little dead-end street is populated primarily with elderly and quiet people. The houses are modest and suburban. My mom has been doing this potluck for over a decade. At the bottom of our street, there is a large gated historic home shrouded in trees. We’ve never really spotted that neighbor. But we have from time to time heard guitar coming from the garage.

This year, without warning, the occupant decided to come mingle with the neighbors. Of course they had no idea who he was. ‘Jack White, nice to meet you.’ He apologized for traveling so much and missing out over the years.”

Everybody go awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Really though, having Jack White as a neighbor and him showing up to your annual potluck? What a guy. Photo proof below.
