Oldest Living Cat Just Turned 26

Nashville, TN, United States / 102.9 The Buzz

Guinness World Records has confirmed that “Corduroy” is the oldest living cat after he recently turned 26 years old on August 1st. Corduroy took the title from “Tiffany Two” who, sadly, recently passed away at the  age of 27 years, 2 months and 20 days. Corduroy has lived with Ashley Reed Okura of Oregon, since he was a kitten and Okura was 7 years old.

Corduroy still has a way to go to be the oldest cat ever. Crème Puff, of Austin, Texas, was born in 1967 and lived until 2005 – an incredible 38 years and 3 days!
