Metro Nashville Animal Control Offers Free Microchips For New Adoptees

Nashville, TN, United States / 102.9 The Buzz

Now, at no additional cost, adopted pets from the shelter in Nashville will receive  microchips (including registration).

All dogs, puppies, cats and kittens that are adopted from the shelter are already spayed or neutered and vaccinated.

According to The Metro Animal Care and Control: “Statistics show that a pet with a registered microchip has a much higher chance of being returned to their family. We hope by taking this step we will be able to assist more pets in getting home if they become lost.”

The shelter is at 5125 Harding Place and is open for adoptions 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.

And, yes, that little guy in the picture is available for adoption! More info HERE
