The network calls for Nashville drag queens in their mid 2os to 30s to audition for the lead role in the show “Mamma Dallas.”
The character is Liberty Bell, a flirty drag queen “with an ebullient, chatty, upbeat personality, but she leads an unpleasantly seedy life — a life that she plans to turn around with a little re-invention and identity theft,” according to the casting call.
“Mamma Dallas” is created by Mike White, who wrote “School of Rock,” “Nacho Libre” and the TV show “Enlightened.”
Those interested in the position can email pictures to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject title “Mamma Dallas.” Include name, drag experience, contact information and city of residence.
